    Our event date was 10th May 2014 for my husbands 50th and the weather was against us, heavy rain, gales etc…however, the effortless professionalism and attention to detail Springbok BBQ’s gave was second to none. The food was of outstanding quality and truly scrumptious, a highly recommended company for any event. 5 stars *****

    Sunday 25th May 2014 – attended a christening for Millie-May Ford and a hog-roast awaited us after the service. We started with hickory sausages and followed with the Springbok hog-roast accompanied by salad, rolls and a variety of sauces. The food was delicious, tasty and tender all served with a smile and a lovely chat about South Africa – superb.     Holy tennis shoes – amazeballs!!! Seriously recommend these fellas cook for you-what a treat! As a big meat eater but couldn’t decide what was better – philadelphian mushrooms and butter spuds or the meats – burgers and sausages. Worth waiting for through a long day of ceremonies!

    Seriously!!! Best chow I have had at a BRAAI in a very long time. although Springbok bbq’s smoker grills aren’t actually what the south Africans would call a traditional braai but 10/10 for some spectacular food well done!

    Charles, thank you for some epic food! Quite easily the best BBQ i have ever had! The desserts have attracted a lot of positive comments from everyone as well! Next time we will do some South African meat and i will get you an England Rugby Shirt to wear!!!

    Exceptionally tasty italian pesto salad and a great side for the meat!!!! Also absolutely delicious Florida slaw and that is from someone who doesn’t actually like coleslaw!! Butter spuds was another massive hit with everyone!! Even my missus who thinks she makes the best ones!!

    Cannot recommend highly enough! Quite simply the best tasting hog roast anyone at our event had ever had. Butter spuds are so much more than a bog standard jacket! Absolutely delicious and enjoyed by veggies and non-vegies alike. The china plates and cutlery gave a classy finish to our event for 60 people, and Springbok served and cleared away plates with understated effortless organization. EVERYONE was complementary!

    Many many thanks to Alby and springbok BBQ for my fantastic, lamb skewers, hog roast and various other items. The food and service was simply amazing and added massively to the success of my 20th wedding anniversary. Everyone commented on the food and the service which was second to none. Most of my guests took business cards and I am sure more business will follow.

From a woman’s point of view I am so grateful as we entertain quite a bit but I always feel happier being a guest than the host as I always am on edge ensuring every one is okay and eating drinking etc. Well you solved the problem as you cooked then served then tidied everything up and took it away. All our guests said how good the food and service was and I know you will get bookings in the future from our guests. Once again huge thanks from Tas and me you did us proud.

    Hi Springbok, thank you for supplying my 40th birthday party with your excellent hog roast! Chris and Arbi (?) were very friendly and cheerful, and, although they were in my garden for 7 hours, getting everything cooked and ready, it wasn’t weird at all (I thought it might be) and they even joined in with the merriment when invited to! I also loved the fact that I could do everything via the website and email, and didn’t have to phone anyone (hate phoning), and that my request to change the numbers for catering were accepted without a fuss. And the food was delicious 🙂

I am sorry that I never got top taste your food as you are aware I was quite ill on the day of my party (such luck) But I will say that I found you very charming, nothing was too much trouble and you carried out your duties very professionally. As for your food well I got fed up with everyone telling me haw great it was. In one way I was pleased that my guests enjoyed it so much but in another way I did not get to taste it myself. The food was wonderful, plentiful and beautifully presented. Everyone, without exception, said how fantastic it was. Your staff were extremely helpful and professional, nothing was too much trouble and helped to make the day a complete success.     Our last minute plans to hold a celebration at home for our sons first holy communion were made possible by these wonderful guys at SpringbokBBQ they made everything so simple, from the ordering of the food to the every detail of our catering needs met beyond our expectations on the big day. The food was delicious!!! Every dish was spectacular and everyone of our guests commented on the polite and kind and professional behaviour of everyone from springbok on the day. They were generous and able to offer great tips on what sauces to eat with each different food to maximise on the taste experience. The food itself was cooked to perfection and served on time and tasted like nothing we have ever tasted before at a Bbq! We are busy planning our next celebration just so we can have them back. We went for the entire package of food napkins,cutlery, crockery,dessert coffee and tea and chefs and we were totally thrilled that we did. It was the easiest party we have ever held at home and we would now not do it any other way. I really really can’t say how much we and our 100 guests enjoyed every mouthful of each item of food. All of our guests requested the contact details for them and plan to book them for their own celebrations in the future. Big tip from us was that the marinated chicken is a must!!!! In fact writing this now I am craving it!!

    A perfect day full of memories. We gathered 70 friends, some of whom had not met for over 40 years. I knew from our previous experience with you that the service would be really efficient and unintrusive, yet at the same time exceptionally helpful and friendly. Your guys really know how to be supportive .They carried tables, moved a few bits for us and helped with a wheelchair. They also supported what wanted to do and distributed nibbles for us. All that in addition to providing excellent food. Many guests commented that the service was delightful. I loved the potatoes , it was a new item for us, not to mention a welcome return for the South African sausages. Thank you so much Stephan, Jenny and Tyrone for helping to make a busy day easy, happy and successful.
